LMHC-D / Therapist

Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.

Life can be overwhelming, and we all need extra support from time to time. Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for positive change, reaching out for help is a courageous first step. I’m honored you’re considering therapy, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, understood, and supported throughout your healing journey.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Psychology from SUNY Empire State College and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Medaille University. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping children (ages 6 and older), teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, empathy, and evidence-based care.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, panic attacks, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, communication difficulties, parenting challenges, low self-esteem, emotional regulation concerns, life transitions, and substance use recovery. Whether you’re struggling with overwhelming emotions, family conflict, work stress, or the lasting effects of difficult life experiences, we will work together to help you feel more confident, resilient, and empowered.

My approach to therapy is person-centered, trauma-informed, and strength-based. I believe every individual has unique strengths, even when life feels difficult. My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can openly process your thoughts and emotions, build healthy coping skills, improve relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to your individual needs, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Mindfulness-Based Interventions
  • Strength-Based Therapy
  • Trauma-Informed Care

Together, we’ll identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, develop practical coping strategies, improve communication, build healthier relationships, and work toward goals that matter most to you. Therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about having a supportive partner to help you navigate life’s challenges one step at a time.

I understand that healing looks different for everyone, which is why I believe in moving at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable for you. My hope is that every session leaves you feeling supported, encouraged, and equipped with tools you can use in everyday life.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, listening to live music, and exploring new places. These experiences remind me of the importance of balance, connection, and finding joy in everyday moments—values I also encourage within therapy.

If you’re looking for a therapist who is compassionate, approachable, genuine, and invested in helping you heal and grow, I would be honored to walk alongside you. You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Together, we can help you build the confidence, resilience, and skills needed to create the life you want.
