Tali Schwiethale
LMHC / Therapist
Hi, I’m Tali, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing in-person individual therapy to teens (16+) and adults in Western New York, as well as telehealth therapy throughout New York State.
Life can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from ourselves. Whether you’re navigating grief and loss, the effects of trauma, a major life transition, or simply feeling like something needs to change, therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and find a way forward.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe you know yourself best, and my role is to meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and work alongside you toward the changes you want to make. I have extensive experience in grief counseling, trauma-informed therapy, self-compassion, and positive psychology, and I draw from evidence-based approaches to create therapy that is individualized to your needs and goals.
Together, we may explore patterns that are keeping you stuck, strengthen your coping skills, process difficult experiences, and build a deeper understanding of yourself. My goal isn’t simply to help you get through a difficult season—it’s to help you feel more grounded, resilient, connected, and confident in your life.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Niagara University and have experience supporting people through a wide range of concerns and life experiences.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy traveling, watching movies, and knitting. I value authenticity and genuine connection in both my personal life and my work, and I believe that feeling truly understood is an important part of the therapeutic process.
If you’re looking for a compassionate therapist in Western New York or anywhere in New York State, I’d be honored to support you.
Thank you!
